Brandon Renford
Brandon Renford is a former professional indoor football defensive back/wide receiver and performance coach originally from Niagara Falls, New York, now based in the Lehigh Valley (Allentown–Bethlehem–Easton). Born in 1987, Brandon is a three-sport athlete who developed early competitiveness and discipline through athletics especially as a high school track standout and has been boxing since the age of 11, shaping his conditioning, mindset, and mental toughness.
Brandon graduated high school in 2006 and attended Niagara County Community College, where he walked onto the basketball team during the 2006–2007 season. In 2009–2010, he pursued professional football opportunities through CFL and AFL tryouts, and he began his pro indoor football career in 2010 with the Fairbanks Grizzlies as a DB/WR. He went on to compete with organizations including the Seattle Timberwolves, Nebraska Danger, Lehigh Valley Steelhawks, Philadelphia Soul, and the Cleveland Gladiators, along with additional CFL/NFL
workout opportunities.
In addition to athletics, Brandon brings a strong business foundation to his work. He holds a degree in Business Communications and is currently finishing his Master’s in Sports Management, expected to be completed in 2027. During the COVID era, when many gyms were closed and athletes struggled to train consistently, Brandon launched his training business in 2021 as Gifted Training, later rebranding as Locked In Sports Training. His mission is to help athletes train with intention, build confidence, and develop the physical tools and mindset to perform at a higher level.
Giving back has always been part of the work. After receiving community service awards, Brandon committed himself to serving families across the ABE region reading in schools, volunteering at local hospitals, speaking at local churches, and supporting youth-focused summer events. Brandon is married and a proud father of four children, and he brings that same purpose and leadership into every athlete he trains.
